October ushers in a new season of events for the Cayman Islands and hopefully, cooler weather. Many local foodies look forward to Restaurant Month deals and Cayman Cocktail Week! The latter of which occurs annually at the end of October. Cayman Cocktail Week is a celebration of all things cocktail-y and sip-worthy. There are numerous entertaining and interactive events across the Island including cocktail classes, historical cocktail tours, pop up cocktail bars, cocktail dinners and the chance to meet top industry professionals! The events are supported by fantastic international brands.

Mango Season is in Full Swing!

A beach chic interior complements contemporary cuisine at Grand Harbour's newest eatery! Harbour Grille Restaurant officially opened its doors at the end of July and is already on its way to becoming a local favourite (their signature Lamb Burger is a must!). Located next to Salty's Sports Bar, stop by for dinner and enjoy great food and drinks in a family-friendly setting.

Summer's Sweet Mango Season continues straight through to September. So pop by the Market at the Cricket Grounds to load up on all the juicy, string-less varieties that grow abundantly in Cayman. All the major supermarkets are also stocked high with Valencias and other large varieties. Every Wednesday, Camana Bay hosts their own Local Harvest Market and will have stalls full of these luscious fruits until the season comes to an end.

For Pizza Lovers Only...

Father's Day Brunches

Cayman's pizza scene is serious business. From Andiamo to Le Vele, gourmet slices abound to please the most discerning connoisseurs. Pizza lovers who prefer proper brick oven pizza can also try The Lighthouse, Ragazzi, CIMBOCO and The Brooklyn. For something different, try Prima's Chicken Killpatrick. But if you'd rather indulge in a cheesy pie at home, there's no need to compromise. Gino's has one of the widest selections of New York-style pizzas on Island and they deliver! For a lunchtime fix, head to The Greenhouse for their freshly rolled flatbread pizzas which can be ordered gluten-free.

Cayman celebrates Father's Day on Sunday, June 17th. Don't forget to treat your dad to one of several special Father's Day brunches happening on the Island. Keep an eye on the calendar as more brunches are added.

Royalists can join in the celebrations for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Saturday 19th, May, with two special events! Enjoy a delicious Royal Wedding Brunch with a screening of the ceremony at Seven. Alternatively enjoy a festive night of dinner and dancing at The Royal Ball at George Town Yacht Club. Keep an eye on the calendar as more royally good events are added in the coming weeks.

If you're in the mood for great coffee, then check out Water & the Elephant, a trendy new cafe opened in the Cayman Technology Centre, 115B Printers Way (same building as The Security Centre). Head down there for great coffee and delicious house-made pastries.

Slow Food Day

The Night Market at Anchor & Den

Join Camana Bay and Slow Food South Sound for Slow Food Day on Saturday 14th April, a celebration of Cayman's home-grown food scene featuring Caymanian Chef and winner of UK Young Chef of the Year 2017 award, Jack Barwick. Festivities include a tasting market featuring a Cayman Food Revolution cooking class for budding chefs and a dinner under the stars prepared by the Pani Indian Kitchen's chefs and guest chef Jack Barwick.

Anchor and Den's monthly Night Market is the ultimate foodie experience which includes delicious tapas and street style food, handcrafted Apothecary cocktails, live music and fun family activities. Every month features a different theme, which inspires the F&B programme for the evening as well as the activities that are showcased. They offer free valet parking and awesome Kids Club activities for ages 5-12 years old, such as hair braiding and scavenger hunts! While their children are entertained, guests can enjoy some yummy grub and cool activities!
